What happens at your first visit
You’ll know what’s coming before you walk in. Here’s the whole visit, start to finish. Plan on about 60 minutes.
No treatment plan to sign on day one.

What happens
- Meet Dr. Brandon. You'll sit down together in a treatment room, not across a counter. Bring anything you think is relevant — prior imaging, a list of what you've tried — but nothing is required.
- Tell him what's bothering you. When it started, what makes it worse, what makes it better, and what you want to get back to doing. He listens first.
- Evaluation. He'll watch how you move, check the joints and muscles involved, and test the things that matter for your situation. If imaging is needed, he'll explain why before ordering it; most people don't need it on day one.
- Findings, in plain English. What he thinks is going on, what he isn't sure about, and what would help clarify it.
- Your options. What care could look like, how long it typically takes to know if it's working, and what you can do at home. If chiropractic care isn't the right fit, he'll say so and tell you who to see.
- You decide the next step. Book a follow-up, think it over, or ask more questions. There is no treatment plan to sign on day one.
What will I feel?
People ask this more than anything else, so here is a straight answer. Nothing happens without your OK, and Dr. Brandon explains each thing before he does it. Adjustments are quick and controlled; some people hear a pop, which is gas releasing in the joint, not bone. Afterward, some people feel looser or more relaxed, some notice easier movement over the next day or two, and some feel mild soreness like after a workout. Responses vary by person and by condition, and if manual adjustment isn’t right for you, there are gentler options. What you should not expect is a promise: no one can honestly tell you on day one how your body will respond.

How insurance works hereQuestions people ask before they book
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothes you can move in. Athletic wear is ideal; jeans and a T-shirt are fine. You won't need to change.
How long is a visit?
First visits take about 60 minutes. Follow-up visits are typically about 15 minutes, or longer when needed.
Do I need X-rays?
Usually not on the first visit. Imaging is ordered when the exam suggests it would change what we do, or when there's a history of injury or other specific concerns. If Dr. Brandon recommends imaging, he'll explain why first.
What if I'm nervous?
Say so. It's common, and it changes how the visit goes: more explanation, slower pace, gentler options, and no pressure to do anything you're not comfortable with.
Can I come in if I've never been to a chiropractor?
Yes — that describes many of our new patients. Tell us when you book and Dr. Brandon will start by walking you through everything.
