Insurance, Medicare, and what visits cost

The honest version, up front: we accept Medicare, and you can see us without insurance. Coverage differs by plan, so the most useful thing on this page is the free benefits check — text us a photo of your card and we’ll tell you your numbers before you book.

Free benefits check. Text a photo of the front and back of your insurance card to 848-301-1515 with the word BENEFITS. Within one business day we'll reply with whether we're in network, your copay or coinsurance, where your deductible stands, any visit limits, and what a first visit would cost you. No appointment required.

Medicare

We accept Medicare. Here’s what Medicare actually covers at a chiropractor, because it surprises people: Medicare covers manual spinal adjustments provided by a chiropractor when they’re medically necessary; it does not cover exams, imaging, or other services from a chiropractor, and those would be your responsibility.

The no-charge consultation and exam is for new self-pay patients. If you have Medicare, NJ FamilyCare/Medicaid, or another federal or state health program, your visit is billed under that program's rules, and you'll know your cost before anything happens. If you have private insurance, the exam is billed to your plan and normal copays apply — text us a photo of your card with the word BENEFITS for a free benefits check first.

If you have a Medicare Advantage plan, coverage follows your plan’s rules.

Self-pay fees

No insurance, a plan we don’t accept, or you’d rather not use it? Straightforward pricing, no surprises:

VisitFee
New-patient first visit (consultation and exam)$0 for self-pay new patients (regular first visit with treatment $199; same-day treatment $75)
Follow-up / drop-in visit (established patients)$75
Membership — one visit a week, month to month$169/month, or $1,825 paid in full for the year

Membership is $169 a month, month to month — one visit a week, cancel with 30 days’ notice, and a 3-day right to cancel after signing. Prefer to pay once? A paid-in-full annual membership is 10% off ($1,825).

What your first visit costs — the three cases

  • Self-pay new patients: $0 for the consultation and exam. Included: the conversation, the evaluation, Dr. Brandon’s findings, your options, and answers. Treatment the same day, if you choose it, is $75 (a regular first visit with treatment is $199). Imaging and follow-ups only happen if you choose them.
  • Using insurance: your exam and any treatment are billed to your plan; your copay, coinsurance, or deductible applies. We’ll tell you the amount before you come in.
  • Medicare and other federal program beneficiaries: Adjustments are billed to Medicare.

Questions

Do I need a referral?

For most plans, no. Some HMO plans require one; we'll tell you when we check your benefits.

What if my visits run out?

We'll tell you how many visits your plan allows and where you stand before you use them up, and what self-pay would cost after that.

Can I just ask a person?

Yes — call or text 848-301-1515.
