The Longevity Trinity Test Visit
Three simple tests, measured in person, about 40 minutes. You leave with your three scores in writing.
Large studies have linked grip strength, the ability to get down to and up from the floor, and aerobic fitness with how long people live. At FIT Lab we measure all three and show you where you stand today.

How the visit works
- Grip strength. You squeeze a hand dynamometer, and we write down the number.
- The sitting-rising test. You get down to the floor and back up. We score it from 0 to 10.
- A walking test. It gives an estimate of your aerobic fitness.
- Your scores. You leave with all three in writing, and how each compares with published norms for your age and sex.

Why these three
In a large study of adults who took a treadmill test, higher cardiorespiratory fitness was associated with lower long-term mortality (Mandsager et al., 2018). Lower grip strength was associated with a higher risk of death from any cause in a large international study (Leong et al., 2015). And in middle-aged and older adults, a lower sitting-rising score was associated with a higher risk of death during follow-up (Brito et al., 2014).
These are findings about groups of people, not a prediction for you.
